Job Title: Anesthesia Technician
Location: Gastonia, NC
Duration: 13-Week Contract (with potential for extension)
Shift: 40 Hours/Week
Monday–Thursday: 10:30 AM – 7:00 PM
One day per week: 11:00 PM – 6:00 AM
Pay Rate: From $25/hr
Position Overview:A reputable healthcare facility in Gastonia, NC is seeking a skilled and dependable Anesthesia Technician for a 13-week contract role. This position supports a high-volume, acute care environment and plays a key role in ensuring the functionality and readiness of anesthesia equipment critical to patient care.
Key Responsibilities:Provide hands-on assistance to clinical staff in the preparation, operation, and maintenance of anesthesia equipment.
Perform monthly preventive maintenance on anesthesia machines, infusion pumps, and coagulation equipment.
Maintain accurate records of anesthesia equipment inventory, tracking both incoming and outgoing devices.
Log and manage all invoices related to equipment purchases and service repairs.
Update and manage the facility’s Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) manuals to ensure compliance with safety standards.
Minimum 2 years of experience as an Anesthesia Technician in a large or acute care hospital setting.
Proven ability to troubleshoot, maintain, and support a variety of medical equipment in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and experience with inventory tracking and documentation.
Flexibility to work mixed shifts including one overnight shift per week.
